Westernization of our Society ??
now we should first understand westernization in what ?
in our thoughts / culture/ work environments / clothing / general sense of taking things / caring about environment/ .......
Westerns, no doubt they have their own culture n history and every one wish to brag about his own traditions more then others.
so now the next big question is 'what comes in culture' ? in general we say how we behave in society is our culture. no doubt the westerns are also a civilized society, its not on how old our culture is then the westerns, its on the current place of our culture.
if our culture says that women are to be kept under home n covered ,tortored then no doubt we need to undertake the western aspects of it. both culture teach us to praise the god, obey the elderly saying , care for child n old.
Thoughts : Freedom to express our thoughts is given to everyone in our country ,our tradition too gives us the freedom to express. so i dnt think there is any problem in this .
Work Environment : the commitment of western persons towards their works is no doubt better then us, atleast i can say that the percent of persons dedicated to the allotted work is far higher then in our Work culture, we mostly try to find escape ways from the work allotted . the reason why we are having a high growth rate in comparision to the westerns is just that we have a lot of manforce, and just due to the manforce quanitity the number of persons although the % is small ,still its higher then the overall western number.
Care about Environment : no doubt India Tradition in its original sense of old time do cared about the environment, the Dharti Maa, but when we adopted the Western thinking about the environment use some 50-100 years back , we also used all the resources to their extreme , now the westerns corrected their mistakes and wants us too to correct the same, but we are not following it. still doing the misuse.
